We have received approval from Clinton Township to move forward with a change to the mask requirements for spectators at our events based on the the change in the Michigan Health Department orders.
At this point spectators are no longer required to wear a mask on our fields provided they maintain 6 ft spacing from other households. The township will be monitoring our compliance so we need your help on a few items.
For U4/5, U10, U12, and U14 we have plenty of space to spread out. For U8 fields we will be eliminating one of the middle fields to add space between the teams. You are welcome to sit on the perimeters of these groupings (fields 1-3 and 4-5). If you choose to sit on the sidelines between fields you will need to continue wearing a mask due to the limited room in that area. It is also VERY important that you only have 2 adults per player for the remainder of the season. This is the ONLY way we can allow spectators to not wear masks.
All coaches, refs, and players must continue to wear masks during the entire sessions. Also remember that not everyone views this as a welcome change so please be mindful of others and make sure you wear a mask if you approach within 6 ft any other households or our volunteers.
